Roma Consultation, Bulgaria

Metodista egyházunk globális és egyesült egyház, angolul "united", ezt meg is éljük, leginkább a külföldi szolgatársakkal való találkozásban. Egy ilyen meetingen vehettem részt, s képviseltem a magyar cigánymissziót. Nem csak itthon de Romániában, Bulgáriában, Szlovákiában, és Szerbiában is folyik a munka. Idén november első napjaiban Bulgária a várnai metodista gyülekezet adott otthont a találkozónak. Nagy élmény volt számomra, hogy beleláthattam más projektekbe és hallottam személyes bizonyságtételeket. Bátorítást nyertem a saját szolgálatomhoz, mert tudom, ebben sem vagyok egyedül. Tudom most már, hogy többen is evezünk lelkesen, küzdve a nehézségekkel, de evezünk együtt ebben a hajóban. Íme a képek erről a lelki és egyáltalán nem száraz konzultációról.

Our Methodist Church is called the "United" Methodsit Church. We are church together. We believe and live this, first of all because we live in fellowship with foreign peoples, we have so many connections outside Hungary. We had such a meeting in the beginning of November in Varna, Bulgaria, the so called Roma Consultation. Representatives of roma mission from Serbia, Slovakia, myself from Hungary, Rumania and Bulgaria met with some folks from US, Estonia, Lithuania and discussed alltogether roma mission. This year's topic was education. Such an encouraging thing to know there are others with the same enthusiasm in this same ministry which is sometimes very hard. But I am not alone, I know we are some who are struggling with same problems in different countries, but we got know each other and we can keep praying for each other and maybe have some visits over the borders.
